As part of my application for membership I confirm that I support the purposes of Citizen Advocacy Sunbury & District Inc as listed below.

The purposes of Citizen Advocacy Sunbury & District Inc are;

To develop, promote and operate a community based program in the Sunbury & Districts region whereby a citizen who is independent of human services (the Advocate) creates a relationship with a person who is at risk of social exclusion (the Protégé) and chooses one or several of many ways to understand, respond to, and represent that person’s interests as if they were the Advocate’s own thus bringing their Protégé’s gifts and concerns into a circle of ordinary community life.
To provide continuing support for the relationship between each Advocate and Protégé.
To provide ongoing training and resources for the purpose of supporting each relationship.
To publicise the work and aims of the Association and to develop an interest in and support for those aims in the community at large.
